New footage from HBO’s new “Game of Throne” has been posted online, but it’s also coming at a steep price.
The trailer for the HBO show has been “unfortunately” being offered to users in the “Free To Play” and “Pay to Play” segments, according to the official YouTube page.
“You will need to pay to access the free version,” the YouTube description reads.
“But the paid version is available for $3.99 or $9.99 per month.”
In addition, users can also pay for the paid “Game Of Thrones” DLC for free, with the option of upgrading to the paid option in the future.
HBO did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“Game” means game, or action, and “Thrones” is the name of the series’ main series.
“We know that many people have been disappointed by our decision to stop making DLC,” HBO said in a statement to Polygon.
“It has been a difficult decision, but we believe that it’s important to make sure the fans have the best experience possible for the long-term.”
“Free to play” is a monetization model that allows users to play a game without purchasing it.
“Pay-to-play” is also a monetisation model that lets users pay for certain features in the game.
“Free-to play” means that you can play the game without paying a fee, but HBO doesn’t recommend that you do so.
The game’s first season is slated to premiere on October 16.
