DirectTV has secured the rights to the Irish rugby union team for a 2018-19 season and the opening match will be a domestic series between Dublin and Munster.
The first season of the series will kick off at the beginning of February and will see the players in their first professional games.
The Irish will face Munster in a semi-final in the opening game of the season at the weekend, with the game being played at the new stadium in the town of Cork.
Tickets will be available from May 17 and will cost €5.95 each.
The Irish Rugby League (IRE) is one of the most successful franchises in professional rugby league and is one the biggest franchises in Ireland.
It was founded in 2002 and has won over two million fans around the world.
It is now one of four European teams in the Rugby Championship, along with Italy, Wales and France.
The Rugby Championship is the biggest rugby league tournament in the world and attracts over 12,000 fans to its venues each week.
